I went to San Pedro on the Sea Angler yesterday, as a second trip of sanddab season. It was a very light load, only 6 anglers and I'll say it was better than most private charter boat
The ride to destination was a bit slow due to heavy fogs.
First drop, at the same spot on the first trip Monday, produce an almost full stringer. It went on very much the same all they long for most of us.
We ended up going home early at 2:00 as everybody is tired and satisfied. I got the least number of fish due to my improper set up and equiped. However, my count is 130. One other guy got twice as much as I do.
Total count from the landing is 6 anglers with 1225 is a bit much. I say it was about 1100. Still a lot.
So if you want to get some good eating fried fish, come on over.
