Spent a few weeks this summer in SW Washington state. Hit up the local rivers, including the mighty Columbia River, and plenty of the local ponds for warmwater and freshwater fish. Landed cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, sculpins, smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. I love how those smallmouth pull, even the little guys! Definitely true fighters. Nothing huge, but the entire trip was quite memorable. Also got to do a little fishing in Portland, Oregon-1 day fishing pass was $16, basically the cost of a DVL trip, hah!

I hope you all enjoy this video I've put together from the trip. There's a little shot at the end with some of the massive frozen salmon for sale at Pike Market in Seattle, quite mouthwatering if you like seafood.

The only place in SW Washington I fished this summer was Silver Lake, but I wish I had a few more weeks to fish there and Oregon. There is so much good fishing around there, that a short trip can only sample a little bit of it. Good job on the catching, Carpanglerdude!
