saw this spot on my last recon at bu,
decided to give it a try today:Smile:
arrived around 0630, no wind, mild surf, salad on the heavy side.
but the surf here is kind of spooky, it would seem to be pretty calm and nice then BOO!!!
give you a big splash when you're least expect and makes you all wet....
anyway, started with rapala and gulp sand worm, worked the area for a good while, nada.:EyePop:
put SC and cracked a mussel, nada.:Embarrassed:
0730 since I have no luck with my short range rifle, decided to switch to my long range heavy artillery.:Flamethrower:
loaded it and fired away.
BAAAAM!!! here's the 1st hit

by now it's about 0900, none stop actions,
then a dfg officer came to me and checked my licence and stuff, my 1st time.
he was nice, even helped me identify a few fish!
so, it took a while.... then when I get back to my pole, got a massive tangle with some huge kelp branch.
thought I could just cut some line and reuse the leader, only found my leader was gone.....sigh

0930 decided to re-do a leader and try some more, quite a few nibbles, no hit.
then my scissors broke

1010 had to leave even though I still wanna do OneMoreCast! well, I guess there's always a next time.
had a great time even though it was kind of sad at the end:Cool:
