This time it was an early bird arrival time at 6.15am. and still dark !!!

Plan was to do the opposite way of going to different spots I went to yesterday,

by reversing the order, which worked out fairly well, considering the target count

that increased :Big Grin:

I know it (my posts) are getting on the boring, repetitive side of the pics given ,

relating to all the SHORT HALI,S  BUT the reason why I take a pic of every Hali

is because a nine count so far, is my PB SO !!! Get used to it !!!:LOL:

CONDS. Caught all the fish on the ocean side of LBC, which I can report is kind of

a mix of sea weed and the usual Inland Empire Debris in the water !!!

YET, Waters are still on the warm side

SHARK BITE OR BIRTH DEFECT ?

This is the CRAZIEST LOOKIN FISH I have ever caught !!!:LOL:

and believe me ,it was healthy and still kickin

OK !!! Here is the rest of the stuff I caught, for such a short session, being that I

left the area by 12.30am.

Shark or maybe a seal when the Hali was young.
Great pics.

Dang, that's a crazy lookin hali...and DAMNED lucky too! Whatever took a bite out of him just missed the spine and got him on top, away from the vital organs. When he gets legal, someone's gonna get shorted on weight and fillets...if they decide to keep him. Nice work FS! And I personally like all the reports littered with eyecandy! Keep em coming!!!:Big Grin:

Awww man, why did you take a bite out of that Hali Daniel?!?
I caught a Hali once that had a quarter size hole right through it... all healed up.
Goes to show how resilient these fish are... but a simple tail rot and they're doomed.
Keep up the good work out there and I'll see you at HG4. :Big Grin:

Must have been an injury the fish suffered as a baby..

17 inchers are fine by me!

A very good job slaying!

You can tell what happened by cooking it up and seeing if it taste like shark or seal!

Thanx for the report with soo many great hali pictures! WTG!!
