City Park Lake Still Hot

Had a chance to beat the heat, and get out to the local park, once again very few people, one other kid was fishing with no bait just a hook, I dug up some worms from the garden earlier and a gave the worms to the kid, the kid caught about 5-6 small bass it about 10 minutes, after the worms were gone he said thanks Mr. a split on his bike, the kid called me Mr. damn I must be gett'in old. Lots huge Tilapia swimming in schools but they would't take anything, they were monsters too but picky as hell. The carp were pissed of today, and 2 broke me off on some new structure I've never got caught up on before, walked half way around the lake to get this one loose, but i got him in. I can't believe it's as hot as it is out there.

Great fish! I can't believe they're as big as they are out there. You da man when it comes to fly lining the big carp.
