I had been wanting to go there for a while so I took advantage of the kid derby. The daughter, wife and I took of from home @ 4 am and I was in line @ 6:30. Really nice surroundings, we even had a deer cross the road infont of us. Well I got a boat and by the time the wife got my girl registered it was 8. She didn't hook up till our second spot a nice 1.1 trout. Picked up the second one retrieving line before the weigh in. On the walk over I thought she had it bagged by looking at other fish but I believe 1.8 took the prize. After the weigh in and lunch we headed back out and we all limited out. I recommend this lake to take the kids and getting them hooked!!!
