Pudd Kayak Run 9/26/12

[Hook'd Up]

Today was a really nice day to be out on the water. Air temp only went up to low 80’s with mostly clear skies. Water clarity again was very poor. Made it out this time at 6:45 am and there was still a light wave of fog over the water. Today the fish gods were with me because I landed a nice fish on my first cast while the water was still like glass. I ended up catching 2 bass about 3 pounds each and a few small dink bass when I was about to leave. Bite was on in the early morning and that was it. One of the fish I pulled out looked like it had a really bad release once because it was missing one eye and had wounds to its upper lip.

Over all I was glad I made it out today to catch a few fish and talk to a few anglers out on the water.
