I age heard these places producing some decent fly fishing action. But then I heard a fire ruined it. Can someone clue me in a bit on if to fish it and where on the section of the creeks. I heard there are browns. Thanks largemouthlad

Both have been impacted by fire (silting and sanding)....high summer crowds and low water with high water temps. Both are technical fisheries that can be frustrating because of the tight conditions. Both have special regulations that are different from regular waters. I'd try them after we get some moisture and rain into the system.

Ditto on the above. Also, naming the creeks doesn't help with impact from bait slingers who defy the regs.

Both are difficult access and marginal fishing especially considering the access problems. Try other places first.

Bring your lounge chair, cooler, power bait, pick a spot near the planting truck and have fun!!! Oh and don’t worry about cleaning up after yourself, somebody else will do that for you.

Ditto on what else has been said. Unfortunately the fires wiped that area out. At one time there were fish to be had but now there's just about nothing. Between the special restrictions for fishing the area, the rattlesnakes, the terrain and the lack of fish, you'd be better off staying at home.

I am really, REALLY new here, so my apologies for thinking I can just chime in at random. I can attest that there are NO TROUT WHATSOEVER in DC or BC or any other area creek. It's best to plan your trips to Bishop Creek (another BC), Rock Creek and Convict Creek - where all the BIG trout are. Best of luck - and smash down accordingly.

Hmmm sounds like a challenge. I'm definitely willing to hike a few mile for some decent fly action. When I get the chance ill head up there and then post a report. Thanks guys
