Not being able to get enough of the nightfishing trolly and I made the trek back to the Vine Saturday night to see what we could do about getting a few catfish in the boat.:Cool:
We arrived at the lake a little later than usual but never too late to get in the water and go anchor down. We had a pleasant suprize when we pulled in seeing our friend Troutdog enjoying a little picnic with a lady friend next to the memorial where Dana's name is on a plaque and the tree planted in Danas honor. Quite the setting for a nice evening watching the sun go down.:Wink: It was good to see you again Aaron.
Well, as for the fishing we decided once again to anchor down to try our luck in one of our spots we like to fish and as the night wore on I was wondering if we were going to see any activity at all but just as I start to wonder what this night had in store Trolly's rod goes off and he brought the first fish to the boat and our hopes got a little better for a good evening.:Envious:
It was a little while between bites but Trolly was able to bring two more nice cats to the boat. I had only one bite all night but as luck would have it I wasn't able to seal the deal.:Confused:
As for me it was another fun evening waiting in anticipation for that big run with a Good Friend.......
