Mammoth/Bishop report heavy pic

Hey everyone, just got back from a few days in mammoth and bishop area

Day 1 (Tuesday): Went to North Lake right from the house and arrived around 7:00, dropshotting mouse tails and just killed them, upwards of 50 C&R, just a great day. Stopped my Intake 2 on my way to meet people in Mammoth and grabbed another dozen C&R.

Day 2 (Wednesday): Decided to stay in Mammoth and work George and Mamie, big mistake..I fished every lake in Mammoth and even went up to June and fished Gull and Grant and only had 1 fish to show for my dark to dark effort, very frustrating, one of those days.

Day 3 (Thursday): Obviously out of Mammoth and back to North Lake, again just hammered them..Dropshotting 50 + and a few on Nymphs and Pumpkin Jig's..dark to dark effort paid off huge..

Day 4 (Friday): Last day, decided just for Intake 2 and grabbed a few really nice browns in addition to a dozen or so nice stockers..Tried south lake for a few and grabbed only one and then bailed..

It's amazing to me how butt hurt people on shore get when you're in a tube outside their reach just killin em. I'm sure had I went to shore on this one guy in particular we would have went to blows, awesome stuff

Im sure those shore fisherman were tying on their heaviest weight and largest trebles too...f' em as it happens all too often...jealousy is a biatch

Those videos look sweet....good angle with an even better idea.
Appears to be rocks in the middle near the dam...do they run the entire length of the lake??

So true about the spark plugs, I just kept hearing a louder and louder thud. You could tell they would use every weight in their tackle box trying to cast half way across the lake..

Shore fishermen get butt hurt when I troll by in front of them too. Every once in a while I reel something in on my 40lb trolling rigs that I didn't even know was there.
