Congratz on both the article and the fish. BTW I've been looking for those lures for awhile now. It's made by owners right? I can't seem to find them anywhere near my area(wal-mart, turners, big5 etc...). Mind sharing where'd you bought it from(aside from online).

You can get them at Turners or Longfin in Orange. They are owner, but branded as Cultiva.

Thanks Poxy. The turners near my area don't sell em. Never knew they had another name for it. I'll check out some other locations.

It did look bigger than it weighed, but it was just one of those hand held rapala scales. Either way it was a beautiful Alpers, and man was the meat red!

Thanks Patrick! That is my personal best Sierras trout so far. I want to catch a large wild or native fish up there. Still working on it.

I didn't do anything besides catch the fish and bring it up to the boat house at the end of the day for a picture. Jared from Parchers sent in the photo along with a report on the lake.
My buddy called me on Friday and said, hey your in WON. Had to go grab a copy...Too cool!
