We threw all kinds of bait at these lakes (not Crowley) Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, caught two fish, a 12" bow at Gull and a 17" at Maime...nobody was catching fish at all.

We went to Leighton springs Monday and Tuesday, Nobody there except the cows both days. My son threw spinners and I stripped Olive Matukas. We both killed it, he was using a little 6.5 foot rod and had the time of his life. Its not the same, you can't drive down the the lake anymore. The level is way way down and its a tough 1/4 mile hike through the cows, mud and rocks going out to Aligator point.

We caught lots of 13-17" fish both days and on our way out Monday around noon we both hooked up at the same time too 18+" fish, his was a bow and mine a cutthroat...we called the cutthroat "dinner" for two nights.

It was a great week, the weather was great and we had lots of funs..
