Yesterday I hit Belmont Shores in the afternoon, and it was boiling all

over with bait !!! So I figure "Should be a Killer in the Morn tomorrow"

WRONG !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif Caught only a couple of YFC,s and Shorts.

Warm water, flat conds, and hardly any, if any bait at all http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif

took off to a more North A.O. to find BAIT BOiLING, FISH JUMPING,

FISHSHEP RUNNING HIS FAT ***** down there to cast his guts out http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif

all for the total of only three Shorts http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

After two hours of casting and watching the fish jump (Bass) decided to

try Seal. Got there at 11am to an overcast and drizzle cond. and spent

only an hour there for one Short. I think Seal is better to fish in early

morn. maybe ?

Hi ya fishshep,

You're right...the water is a bit too warm....it needs to cool down to approx 66 - 68 deg for the good bite to return.
You are definitely putting in the time and the effort soldier....I'm certain that the larger models are just around the corner for you and me!
All-in-all......a nice fish count for these tough times! :Thumbs Up: Some anglers are having to settle for YFC's during these tough times. At least you are are focusing on, targeting and beaching the correct species! You're doing something correct!

Thanx for the fish report w/ pic's!
