I was in the area for a bit this afternoon so I decided to leave early and make a little fishing trip out of it.

Started fishing at 9 AM and stayed for a couple hours. Landed about 10 or so barred perch using camo sandworms and sandcrabs. 4 of them were fatties and they were caught on the sandcrabs only.

nice to hear they're still there. my buddy & i hit 5th st. last sunday for about an hour without a single hit, we had better luck up north by Carp.
my buddy has been itching to get on some bsp, so i took him to 5th st. because i've always done well there (numbers wise). but, the surf was wicked that day & we couldn't buy a bite.
congrats on the nice day in the surf!
