i throw this royal coachman trude for stocked trout. drop it in front of them and give it twitch. you can also fish it for bass and panfish, and probably carp. recipe : peacock hurl, red floss, Marabou feathers white, soft hackle brown, tail is golden pheasant, on a red size 10 hook.

You're hooked now. Nice looking fly. That will also work for wild trout as well. I tie them down to size 20 for the little Brookies that populate the creeks on the Eastern side.

Thanks Tubbytuba and Viejo i have only Tying for almost a year.
i will have to make some of them Royal Couchman trude up and try
them out.

pm me if you have any questions guys, ive been tying for about 3 years, catch most of my fish on hand tied flys. im not a pro but the fish sure dont know that :LOL:
