Laguna Nigel Park Lake

Anyone have any info. on bass fishing at this regional park lake? This is the lake off La Paz Rd.

Neighbors took their exercise walk there last Sat. and told me they saw about 8
boats with fishermen. Anyone catching bass?

I fished it two months ago for two dinks. It
wasn't worth the $$.

Has anything changed? Any recent success there?

This lake used to be the best little bass lake around. I'd go there with my tube and on a bad day catch a dozen bass in the 2-6lb range. Back a handful of years ago there was a large fish die off and from what I've heard it's never been the same.
That being said, if anybody has different info.... I'd love to go back there and tear it up like the good ole days!

I fish there for trout all winter long. And if they stocked cat I would be there to but they don't. They released a bunch of crappie last spring. But then they had an algae bloom and things just died. I haven't been there since. Hopefully they will stock trout again. Good luck!
