carp on the fly

i take a fly rod with me everywhere. mostly small spring creeks for trout but ive caught bluegill, bass, crappie, a couple of channel cats (and a bullhead), surf perch, little pancake flatties.... but i have yet to target a carp. lake Gregory is filthy with them so im gonna make a trip up there. any tips on getting one of these to take a fly? i doubt you can coax an aggression strike out of them like you could other species. anything you got will help

Don't know much about them but im sure it would be lots of fun fighting on a Fly rod for sure . i had caught one bait and wait with corn tortillas . im gonna look in to it and see because it sounds like some fun.

I've gotten them on sparkle buggers and a small "dazzle eye" bugger that my buddy ties, but they are random catches and I haven't found a consistent pattern to target them.
