Hi guys,
My friend and I want to hop in the suburban, drive to the eastern sierras or somewhere around there have ourselves a little two day camping / fishing trip. I don't know the area but we are mainly interested in doing creek fishing. All the creeks around here are too low and hot so that's why we are venturing out. Can anybody give me some suggestions of where we could go up for the best creek fishing? I live near Pasadena and we don't really want to drive more than 6-7 hours, so anything around there would be great. I got a new fly rod so I'll be trying that out but we'll bring spinning gear as well.

Best to try the Upper Owens river above Lake Crowley you will not be sorry. Be sure and check the regulations before fishing as they are different above and below the bridge at Benton Crossing.

not to be rude or with lil infor. But to me, all you need is to just get there. Just google Map the whole place and do search and conquer tactics..(thats what i do, and its a thrill)... not the same thing with the same creeks even the same year with most of them creeks.

good luck, hope to venture and have fun, please do share plenty of pics when you get there.
