Hit the lake about 7:00. Putted around the coves for some largemouth and boils. No luck on this trip only action was catching bluegill for stripers and had something hit my plastic worm hard in one of the coves and by the time I was trying to set the hook it took the worm right off the hook, after that it haunted me all day lol.

Just an FYI but "catching bluegill for stripers" is illegal. Castaic has been pretty darn good for me the couple of times I've been out in the past 6 days. Boils and chasers but that's just fishing. Was Pyramid having any decent boils? Been thinking about hitting it but Castaic has been too good to me so far plus the annual pass I have there gets me in without extra expenses.
