Hey guys,
Got to the lake and launched in the south end at 0630. First cast at my spot, caught a 6.5 pounder. Three casts later I had another 6.5 pounder. Great start, two fish in 10 minutes. Caught two more (another 6.5 and a 5 pounder) over the next two hours. Had my fifth on and he was the biggest, but broke me off in the trees (hint hint to my spot). By 0930 it was HOT in my neoprene waders so I left with 4. Total weight 23 pounds with four fish. Great day. Gave two of my fish to employees at the lake. My freezer is full.

For cats, no. Saw one guy on the south side with a few tilapia and a few blue gill. About 7 shore anglers total for the whole lake.

These fish were OLD. They had been in the lake a while. They were all best up and discolored
I've been very blessed lately at Corona. 4-5 fish days, and big ones, are the norm right now. Anaheim lake is a different story, I can't catch a thing there.
