Hey all I am an avid fresh watter fisherman. Boss is treating me and one of the other managers to a day out fishing on his dads boat. I know nothing about salt watter. We will be heading out to catalina island. What baits do we use live, luers, plastics?? I really have no clue but would love to land a fish or two any help on baits or locations would be great! Thanks guys!

Ur best bet would be to use squid strips on a dropped loop.

Dropper loop with a squid strip on the bottom, or a flylined anchovy/sardine on top. Latter for me whenever possible.

Thanks for the help guys! Really appreciated! Like I said really lost in the salt water. If you guys ever need any help on the frsh water hit me up via post or pm would love to help you out! I fish a lot of local city lakes in north oc if you are lookin for some tips.
