NPB surf and NPH 8/25

Went with my niece to the beach to try for some beans.. Which were too deep for me to access.. didn't feel like rock-hopping, due to having to slow down for the niece..


So i just tossed a grub for the perch... Did really well, they were WFO.

these fish were aggressive, all inhaled the 3-inch grub!

None were big, but they were large enough to be a fun fight.

it's weird how the left side of the jetties is shark territory, while the right side is Teleost territory.

After that the crowds were just too damn thick, so I decided to hit the channel.. Noticed "The Wicked" was out to sea, so took advantage of the opportunity to fish the vacant dock for this small, but really thick sandy!

Waves were far more manageable, overcast and drizzly early. nice warm water. harbor water was colder. The spotfins will soon converge in the harbor..

Thats awesome that you got the niece out there and caught some fish!

I've been down there everyday the past week, but decided to hit sunset yesterday instead... Eventually I'll run into u. Should be there today with a buddy or 2 and 2pm
