Hit the "Secret Spot" early today with M6teenBam and my son. Pretty slow for the spot.. My son caught a couple on the drop shot. He also farmed a couple and lost lots of plastics. But, he had a great time and loves this spot. Caught a couple on the drop shot, a couple on the Carolina rig and two on the Ika. My first time Carolina rigging a baby brush hog. I think I will give it more attention from now on.. These are a couple of the 2lbers. Check out M6teenbam's whale.. The jig weighed more and was bigger than the fish.. Good times though.. 3692536926

There are already people up there bucketeering the blue gills and the bass. Not too many people either know the spot or wanna deal with that hill. Lets keep it that way.. Heard several gunshots today while fishing also.. That might keep a few people away..

brush hogs kick ***!

hands-down one of my favorite soft plastics, fresh or salt. I like them because you can flyline em, let them sink slowly for a few seconds, then give a sharp flick, and they dart down to the bottom.
