Jackson lake, Stocked with Catfish?

on 8/17/12(friday) i picked up my local newspaper (antelope valley press) and turned to their "Catch of the week" section & was surprised to read that jackson lake was stocked with catfish Aproxx 3 weeks ago. i found that strange because i had never heard of jackson lake being stocked with catfish ever, i was going to take a picture of the article, but somehow it got thrown away:mad: can any one give me any insight on this? much appreciated

They have never stocked Jackson Lake with Catfish in the 40 years I've lived in the area. Trout stocking has been spotty at best and the water temps are so warm that algae and weeds are becoming a problem
