View Full Version : Pudd 8/21 AM

I put off work today cause i had the itch, so i hooked up the boat and was on the water by 630. First cast before the bait even made it down i get slammed pretty good, fought him for a second and he came out to be around 2 lbs with a belly on him. Worked the same areas as last week but wasnt even getting a single bite, This went on for 2 hours. I moved around quite a bit looking for hydrilla and at my last spot i found 3 huge beds of hydrilla, I worked the first one for one just short of 3lber and a 2lber, the second one for two 2lbers, and the third for a bunch of smaller 1's and 2's and a 3lber. The sun was burning and someone was creepin on my spot so i headed in at 1030. The fish in the last picture was messed up pretty bad, Looks like he had a very bad release once. Huge gash on his upper lip and alot of his scales were missing, a few of his fins were messed up too.

Nice fish dude... We've taken a break from the pudd due to the heat but looks like the bite picked back up

Thanks man. The bite is kinda tough right now, i had to work pretty hard for these guys

Yeah I was there also,I guess I saw you since there was only one boat on the lake,nice fish,I fished from the shore and got a couple of bites but ended up with the big skunk,glad you got some WTG.

Where we're you fishing? I think there were two other boats on the water as well, I was in the blue one

I was out there today and got 4 on the ds, one on a jig, and a catfish on the ds. All released, and off the water by 10
