8/18/2012 Sand Bass Playa Del Rey

Caught this guy after tossing my swimbait 3 or 4 times upon arriving.
I was amazed at how strong this fish was. I have never caught a sand bass this big so i was pretty excited.
Im not quite sure how big it was but i estimate it was between 15 and 16 inches.
Some guy caught wind of the action so I took advantage and told him to take a picture of me and my catch.
Once the picture was taken i released the big fella.
I also caught three small calico bass that afternoon. Not bad for a few hours of work.
