I just read a post off my Facebook from the daveys locker sport fishing page. It said they spotted dorado on kelp patties off shore. I was wondering if any of you guys knew how far off shore and have any of you caught any yet? I'm planning goin out either next Friday or the Friday after, I'm debating whether to take a half day, 3/4 day or maybe even an over night. Any info you can give would be great, I just want to set up a good ocean trip, haven't been in ages ha.

Lets Talk Hookup said one was caught in 60' of water in the OC.
Another week or two they should be more up in the Catalina Channel.
My buddy got one 3 miles off San Pedro 3 - 4 years ago.

Thanks for the info, I apreciate it! I think I'm going to go on a over night trip on the 31st. I'm excited, havent been on a ocean trip in a while. Cant wait to feel a real bend on my pole, I'd be stoked if there were just a bunch of barracuda around ha. I'll let you guys know how I do, thanks again for the info.

You should change the title to 'Dorado Inshore'
They are being caught within 10 miles of San Pedro.

It is time for PBers to hook up.
I am waiting to see a Jackpot Jimmy Tradition Tuna/DoDo report.
When will the Rubber Ducky have a Tuna Report ? Cmon Lal.

Thanks guys! I'm having a hard time choosing between the irvine lake last chance qualifier or an overnight trip this weekend. I'm gonna continue checking reports and I'll make my decision last minute. Either way I'm gonna be on the water this weekend, cant wait! Thanks again for the info guys!
