Lots of weeds along the shore up to about50 yards out in some areas not all
. I think your best bet us fishing from a boat or something. hope this helps

i would assume so my friend, use short leaders, short inflated crawlers... they'll be in the weeds so dont worry about getting out far enough away from them. usually the worms dont gather weed on the way down and they wont after they sit since theyre floating...
