Home for a month, fished perris from the bass tracker last week, and dvl on saturday. Today I hit up my favorite brushpile from the float tube. Havent touched it in a year and Im glad to see theres more fish on it now. The slabs in this lake are grade A. 17, 16, and 15inches. Fish were suspended 15ft-20ft deep. Got em on a 1/32nd yellow/white tube jig and a crappie nibble. Busted out the 2-1/2 foot ice fishing pole to jig em. Beautiful day.

Nice! Good going on the crappie. Yeah I got an 18 inch Black crappie too on a tiny hand-tyed jig and waxwork there at LP about 2 years ago. Caught, measured, photo and released. There's a couple good spots that can have a few giants hanging out, but usually you have to hit those places early in the morning and do it quietly. A float tube is the way to go.

Great looking Crappie, took the tube out this morning and caught three early on a 1/32 jig.
