Lagoon tubes 7/21

Got in the water about 10:30 or so and got a few right off the bat of no real size. Was kinda crowded and a few folks wanted to park it right where we last hooked up as we netted pic and released, but most folks were also quite accommodating to our trolling ways.

Got a few by the first point, few off the ledge of the cove, went around and missed a bite by the swim beach, and came back around to work the ledges and point.

8 fish in total, I got a five and we each got a 4 lber, there were few 3s, nothing good until noon, 3before noon all under or on 2 1/2. By the end of the day the gf is holding her fish :) she will unhook and net in no time.

Bite was still odd all day, many timid light bites. End of our day got much harder strikes (and most of the larger fish), we left well before evening bite, but I'm interested to see if it is consistently harder bites and bigger fish till dusk. Anybody have an experience lately of that? Varied roboworms and poison 9 inchers at the end of the day.

No morning/noon/evening insights/experiences from anyone? Guess you're all dreaming of striper.

Seems my best has been between 10-2 past two weeks. If evening is any good, and with a stronger bite, I can be sure to skip mornings altogether and come at noon.
