Perris 7/18 with a new personal best

[HEMAN]

Tubed perris on 7/18 out of Bernasconi.. got on the water late (had to go renew the annual parking pass). Weather was great... buoys are wayyy out there now so no lake lice zoomin by 4 feet from my head,.. got on a couple nice size bass 13-18 inch and about 15 panfish (although this fatty below probably won't fit in any pan)

Here is my personal best (panfish category) RedEar below.
I used an empty can (I found :Secret: :Embarrassed:) to help show its size and the bottom one shows how girthy she was!
It went about 11 1/2 inches didnt get it weight, but i was guessing it was just over 2 lbs.

Man i know what you mean. I found an area in the east end last week that was stacked with some big redears sitting on beds.

NiCe size red ear! My pops caught a fat red ear also, he was using an Ika at the dam. Crazy, cause ther mouths are so small and yet they try to inhale this bait.

Nice going HEMAN. Here's your big Redear bait.. a Tiny Ika on a 1/16 oz "special" jig head. I sometimes hang a mealworm on there for scent. They really hit this hard!
