I am staying in Carlsbad near San Diego and I don't know where to go out of. Should I go out of UM Landing? I'm only going on a 1/2 day or a twilight please help me out.

It depends on what you want to go after. The 1/2 Day out of H&M Landing have been doing well with the calico bass counts, but the 1/2 Day at Seaforth Landing have been producing a few yellowtails and cudas, but their bass counts are lower than H&M's.
The 1/2 Day out of Point Loma seems to be doing okay with rockfish, if that's what you're into.
A piece of advice is to watch the number of anglers on the boats...try to go on a weekday to avoid a crowded boat...

Yea I might just go on a twilight trip instead hopefully I will get some fish.
