Torrey Pines Hali 7/18

So I needed a stress relief from all this underway I've been doing on my ship too many drills and no down time, so I decided to hit the beach today. Got to Torrey Pines around 1800 and the tide was on a flood current so I tossed come crack and picked up some beans and BSP's at Sunset which was about 2000 I switched up rods and tossed the LC for about 1 1/2 hours, fan casted and walked the whole damn beach from what it seemed like, ended up tossing the LC a far as I could and then I got slammed, it hit on the first 3 cranks and since it was so far out it took forever in the pitch black. I wasn't sure what it was till my head lamp saw the 2 strange eyes, carried it out to the car which was only about 20' up the dune and had a quick pic and measure and returned it back to Davey Jones, I can't post a pic from the phone to the site but I copied the URL to my FB post, reading that book and post helped thanks a lot. I caught it on #20 spectra with a #15 floro leader and it was te Chovie LC, tight lines everyone and have a safe week.

Good stress reliever indeed! Glad you got out and got some fish Diego. I have yet to brake in my new LC's. Soon though I hope.
