Went to Fairmont Park in Riverside to check out the fishing as it is a close drive. LOTS of anglers but few fish caught. Talked to a few locals who said the cats are good near the island. I tried dropshotting a aarons Magic worm but no luck there. Just wondering if ya'll have heard of or had any luck there lately on any species?.....Thanks

was there the week of the derby that they had and caught some cats on the opposite side of the island. On the open water side, but forget it man. All the cats are gone by now lol

Go there too much, Bass will bite, but you have to know the spots and the baits.... can't tell you or I'll have to kill you.. Ha-ha!

Hey Jeff do you remember that big bass that you lost because of the hole in your net last time we were there. Dang I was all ready take a picture and she just took off like a flash before you could lip her.

A couple things for ya, #1 U kinda need to decide if u are fishing for bass or cats. #2 When u mentioned u had no luck, does that mean any catch u get is just luck? No its not. :)
