Im new to the site and was going out to Perris and wanted to know if there was any part of the lake where the waves from all the boats get to high. Thanks

The Main lake is probably the worst.

Stay north and east of the island. But, with that being said, I like fishing the Bernasconi area from a float tube and though it can get crazy with waves from the power water crafts, it doesn't seem to hurt the fishing. The last time I fished on a busy weekend, I had bites and hook-ups even as boats and jet skies went right by, fairly close to me. Didn't scare the fish at all. (I was in deeper water, and I am talking about panfish, not bass..)

Stay away from Lake Perris at all costs. The bass fishing sucks there big time. I have yet to catch a single bass at that godforsaken place. Nothing to see here, move along....... :-P
