Got to the lake around 5:45 and headed to the first cove and within 6 cast I hook up on a 2.3 worked the same cove for 5 other fish ranging from 1-2#. I couldnt find the bigger fish that day but it was nice to get out there since i havent been in two weeks. It was also nice to just break the skunk off my new rig. Pictured below is the 2.3#

nice work at the pudd! I was there in the PM and caught a few crappies and gills on the fly. Weeds were every where though, is that what you saw?

Yeah there was alot of algae, i cant wait for the hydrilla to start growing. I love fishing the pudd when its loaded with hydrilla.

Sweet Whip! I have some similar colors on my boat. I like fishing the Pudd as well. Maybe I will see you out there.
