what should i bring for 1/2 day trip??

well I'm going out off daveys locker next week and was wondering what kind of plastics do ppl use out in the ocean?? I've only been on a couple trips and usually just use live bait or squid but want to try something new. Also is 12 lb line over killl or should i be fine with 6lb? well if u have any recommendations i will appreciate it. thanx u

the best advice i can give is to call DL and ask them whats been biting where they have been going. i only know of the cuda killers which arent the official name. sorry. but call them. someone should be able to be more helpful :-P

I normally use 12 lb for plastics. You never know when a barracuda or small yellowtail will hit.

I take 4 inch curly tail grubs on 3/8 or 1/2 oz leadheads; Kalin "mogambo" 5 or 6 inch grubs on 1 or 1 1/2 oz leadheads; and 5 or 6 inch sluggo's on lighter flat heads (don't know what the style is called).

thanxs to both of u and i will be definitely be calling them a day before or so. But for now any1 else? ill be running to the bass pro shop on sunday to pick up a couple things.
