Anyone have any experience with this Mystery Tackle Box Subscription?? I guess you pay $15 a month and you get at least $15 worth of lures. It has definitely peaked my interest but the website is very vague as to what brand of lures or endorsements. It stated that the mystery lures are catered towards bass fishing. Any thoughts??

The baseball bat approach isn't working for you anymore...? Haha

It does look interesting though, I'm going to look into the reviews

Personally, I'd rather take my $15 and buy a nice Lucky Craft lure, and know I'm getting something of high quality and that works for me. Mystery bags that you have to pay for sound risky IMHO.

I think they have locked on to a certain niche market though. To some degree, whether we like to admit it or not, we fisherman are also "collectors". Buying new tackle is fun and we usually buy more than we need. Just sifting through your tackle collection for 30 minutes or so can bring back some memories and/or get you dreaming.

I think of my dad. He's getting older now and can't get out to fish as much as he would like. However, he still buys tackle and will sit and sort through it, tie rigs, etc.

So for the nostalgic collector this could be kinda cool, but if they are just sending out really cheap crap - not so cool. lol:Cool:

For $15, seems like some decent stuff. Seems legit. I might sign up for it.
