that's a pretty heavy rod.
What's the length on it?
I have a 7' (20-50#) and going to put a Avet JX 2-speed on it.
I also have a another 7' that I have my Penn 113H on.
I don't know how rigid the rod is, but most likely you won't be doing much long distance casting with it. Might as well gear it up for live bait soaking, trolling and rockfish dropping.
