Here are some of the most recent catches from PECK, the 2 Bass and the Cat were all caught using the same frog. Its a Yum Creature. lookes like a frog. The lake will not give best time to fish is sunrise and sunsets. Do not fish at night alone! ALL IN ALL GOOD LAKE FOR CATFISHING. Bass are a BONUS!

Great report! I love to see a positive report come out of Peck Road Park Lake. It's the closest to my house, so I've fished there several times. It looks like it has a lot of potential. Way to good. As for fishing after 9 pm...I dunno. Kind of a lonely place after dark.

Nice results! How is that place like? Is it a safe place to bring a kid?

Wouldn't recommend that. Although there are lots of bike riders there, but considering the numbers of the homeless guys there, I would say no. Not saying they are bad, also sliding sand might be hard for kids to go down.

It's very safe. The bikers bao mentioned are only at the back side of the lake, and to me, not really the primo spot at peck. The middle beach area is easy to access when not flooded or you can fish the whole front side. Not after 9pm though thats not even legal at Peck. Daytime at Peck is 100% safe. Plus, they are always renovating now so there will be a bunch of city workers present all day.

This comment has been rolling around in my head for days. You fly line a nine inch thick piece of mackerel? Would you mind going into that a little, or is it just that you strip a whole mackerel side and stick a hook in it?

It says a "NICE" inch thick piece not a "NINE" inch piece. I would assume he is using 1" chunks but that is just a guess.

Wow, you're right. I was reading that wrong over and over. Weird. Must be losing it faster than I thought. Makes better sense now that I am reading it right. :Head Bang:
