Need a combo for the pops on an upcoming saltwater 3/4 day.
7-8ft rod rated for 15-20lb.
Spinning reel sized 4000-6000. Prefer a Shimano baitrunner or something comparable.

Sorry man. Did research on the Abu and it was about $45 for the combo. I am kind of partial to shimano and daiwa for saltwater gear.

If you are still looking, I have two spinning outfits I don't use. One is a Shimano baitrunner 6500 on a Shimano rod, the other is a Daiwa reel on a Sabre rod. The Shimano combo is in good condition; the Daiwa/Sabre combo has never been fished, and the rod is not one of the cheap Sabre's they sell at big 5. It is older and made in the USA. I think it's a 7 foot 270?
Both are in the garage. If you are interested I can dig them out next weekend and give you a better description/send pictures.

Still interested. Please provide specs on the shimano rod. I know the Sabre 270 action but interested on the Shimano rod and Daiwa Reel specifications. I need it by next saturday so would need to pick it up sometime this week. If it is doable feel free to PM me all the details including asking price. Thanks!
