Beautiful Day at Rosa with a JP to boot

35965Very bumpy ride heading out but weather laid down in the morning. 29 WSB on board. Didn't get any of those but ended my day with this 30lb butt that took the Jackpot. Also caught a few other scattered species and got one of those huge blue lings on the last drift. Used my Calstar rod, Avet 2 speed reel, 30lb fluro with dropper loop and 4 oz weight. Oh yah, live squid did the trick. Really a good time catching this fat fish.....yum yum Halibut steaks for dinner..Crew on the Mirage is top notch and one of my favorite boats to catch a ride. Thanks for reading.
