The Kern County Fishing Club just started last Friday. We've already met for a couple of fishing outings, with much more planned or in the works. We have great plans for the club - freshwater fishing, saltwater trips, contests, tournaments, family outings, youth outreach, and lots & lots of fishing outings. But we need members!
It's free to join - http://www.meetup.com/kerncountyfishingclub - $1 a month dues to help cover our minimal costs of operation, payable the first meeting you come to each month.
The monthly meeting is the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Denny's on White Lane, Bakersfield, just off Hwy 99 at 8 am. That's the meeting where we all plan what we want to do in the coming month(s) - and then, of course, we go fishing!
We want serious anglers to join us - but ones that can have fun, too! Open to everyone regardless of fishing experience.
