were you using squid? ive caught spotties and sand bass there with gitzits, and even a rattletrap

I tried squid, anchovies, mackerel, couple plastics , worms. .... I like using ghost shrimp but out of my budget today. I had some gitzitz in my hand Friday ...should have bought them

Thats actually huntington harbor,ive had luck Fishing off the pch side.tubed out there yesterday but skunked also... :(

Ya technically it is HB. Depending where I'm sitting my GPS sometimes says sunset. Lol I do pretty good when I'm on the boat but not so much on shore.

You can pull ghost shrimp out of the sand at low tide there.
You can also get clams there : )
