That is one of my considerations. Its closest to home. Been wanting to check out MSP though too. .. so many tough decisions in life lol

I'll be at MSP the big lake tomorrow morning going for carps. Was at balboa pier on Wednesday afternoon to evening, nothing at all. BC, HB surf fishing is pretty decent right now but heard from other anglers that there is some kind of clear jelly/ slime in the water

BC, HB surf fishing is pretty decent right now but heard from other anglers that there is some kind of clear jelly/ slime in the water can you pretty much catch all species asst both ? Cats/bass/carp?

Yeah. Both lakes has bass,catfish, carps and bluegills. The little lake off of Warner and Euclid will be easier to get on the fish because lake isn't that big.

Yeah. Both lakes has bass,catfish, carps and bluegills. The little lake off of Warner and Euclid will be easier to get on the fish because lake isn't that big.

Wow I didn't know you could do that. I last summer I launched my boat often out of sunset.. .end of Edinger . I usually did pretty good.

nice i want to launch off edinger with my tube and fish the pch bridge, do pretty good there on spotties, sandbass, few small calicos near the rocks.....u figure out where your going tomorrow?

Need to get my boat back in working condition! I do good with rays, leopards and smoothhounds... Maybe the park tomorrow and surf fish Sunday. Gotta hit up big fish for supplies than make up my mind

My usual go to is performance tackle in los alamitos. But if I'm off pch than big fish is convenient

Slow morning

MSP this morning, no carps, but got 2 turtles and 4 - 7inch channel catfish. Don't think the DFG stock that small of a catfish. That means the catfish had a great spawn. PCH and Warner, used to be able to fish there but now, it's off limits to fishing. Good fishing there though, would catch a lot of diamond turbot on shrimp or ghostie. Lots of sharks as well.

There is someone bringing cats in across the lake. ... They are out there ....wouldn't know a carp if I caught one since I never have

@evo - Passed by pch/Warner on my way to the lake. Not quite sure where to park and fish there .... i was there this morning, on warner you turn at the light that goes to the fire station/yacht club. Pay for however long u want to park for and head to the docks. my brother hooked into a couple sharks, I got nothing, water is real warm we're thinking of going back out with our tubes in awhile

I've thrown mackeral, mealworms.. .forgot the marshmellows... Dough, crawlers and even my super secret go to bait ... Nothing
