So my daughter (4 y/o) said on friday night before bed-- daddy can we go fishing tomorrow?
We got to the Pudd @ 10am. She caught fire quick, catching and releasing 10 or so bluegill and redear in 30 mins. Waxies did the trick. We met a nice group of people fishing next to us, who were also getting some paddle boarding in. We swapped childhood stories about fishing the pudd in our own childhoods, and passing down the fun to the kids. In his case, he was passing down the pudd tradition down to his grand kids.
Once again, both my and daughter and I have fond memories fishing "our" lake--as she calls it.
