3/4 charter reel fun aug 22

so every year my family charters a 3/4 day boat most of the time out of dana point, so we leave a little after 6 and get bait and all that. and we set out the trollers for some bonita and right before we get to the domes we get nailed on both of them and the captin yells throw bait and there are bonito every where nice ones too. 5 to 8 pounders.
after we caught quite a few of those we hit up the biggest calico and berry nursry ever it was every cast dropped down or on top you would get a calico or a small berry no keepers in that spot but i caught around 20 calicos and 10 berries. then we moved then we started hooking up with some nice bass. lots of keepers. all over on top on bottom on the middle. lots of macs berries and bonitos also. most to small. then we go to the last spot and i see yellows i call it out and every one starts going for them. i think it was a bad idea for me to say that lol. but i hook up with one i fought it for about 15 minuts and it took a dive under the boat and the hook poped off. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: god i was pissed. so i keep trying and the bite kinda died after that. just a couple small berries. then some one trying to get a hali hooks up and it makes a huge run almost de spools him them they get line in and 30 minuts later its a huge yellow off the bottom i was shocked. but it was easy 30 ++ and it started to make its death circle around the boat and it got stuck in some ones line and broke. he was PISSEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD DDD big time all he kept yelling was F*%$ haha. and thats the story i didint take to many pics my camara died.

Ouch Slater. What a heartbreaker story there. you know, I'm very VERY proud of you. You didn't even bust a "haha" anywhere in that report. Wait a minute. That guy that lost the yellow (oh excuse me, there were two of you huh?) what i meant was, the guy that lost the "token" yellow, is he a relative of yours? Cuz I thought you said it was a family charter. That's not cool if it's a family thang and he's dropping the "F-bomb" around. Unless he was saying 'pinche' cuz 'pinche' is cool to say. lol...thanks for the report man!!! i love when people get at pi**ed off about losing a fish, ITS A FISH PEOPLE !!!!! If i lose a yellow/tuna....no wories....

ya he is my cousin. it was really his sons fish he dropped a din to the bottom. mine was fly lined. i didint put any haha's cuz i was pissed off all day cuz i sucked at fishing yesterday haha. sunday ill show you whats up though. he was dropping the f bomb over and over again haha. i would too. that yellow was soooooooo big i have never seen one that big before. but ill tell you how big it is on sunday after a catch it ok kev.
