View Full Version : Alondra Park Kids Derby??

I heard that there is some type of kids derby out there this weekend..Does anyone know where I can get more information on this event?
I checked the DFG site and all I found was this:

I am looking for more info than what is provided. Any info is appreciated..

Hit up bman90278 or dfisher. Those two live at that lake. They know the ins and outs of fishing for any species at that lake. They'll give you all the info you need.

UR a fool Surfer! I've only fished twice in the last 5 weeks....Making too much money right now to worry about fishing.

I've never been to an Alondra Derby but I drove by it last year early in the morning on my way to work and it looks like it was crowded early. You'll prob want to get there at sun up to get a good spot.

yea they are planting 1000 lb of catfish

Have they planted some cats for this ?

There's gonna be a bunch of ghettos a55 hood a55 people there. Come with the right attitude and ton of patience because it will be an absolute zoo out there and maybe at the very least a knife for self defense.

Yeah dude I'm serious. Its usually pretty mellow during the middle of the week midday. Youll just have a few harmless transients to deal with but evenings and and especially all day weekends when the weather is nice, all the ghetto, low income, "curse words every few words out of mouth" type people from all the surrounding ghetto a55 neighborhoods come to this park.

Bite was off the hook, my ill girl got her limit by 11:30 then she went on and won a rod and reel combo. The wife and I then threw in our lines and got our limits by 2:30. All fish went to my parents and the In laws. I also helped a family hook up some fish,that felt good. I didn't see any problems.
