Hi guys. I was wondering what kind of rods I should use for trolling for trout. I got two from my dad that are set up with lead core line. The thinner one doesn't say anything on it, the larger one says "Custom Made BR-700L Length 7', Action Medium Light, Line: Lead Core Compatible. The thinner one feels pretty damn stiff. I can't figure out what kind of rods they are but the both have Argus 1860-G reels on them. Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could tell me anything about them and if they're good trout trolling rods (I think my dad bought em for specifically for trout trolling but I can't remember and the internet isn't helping to much). Also, aside from figuring it out on a fish finder, are there any maps online anywhere that have the depths listed on them? You guys have been a great deal of help in the past and I'm hoping you'll be able to teach me a thing or two yet again. Thanks for everything.

The set ups you have will work fine,l you may want to use a rubber snuber on the stiffer rod, i use light rods so so when the fish bite it wont rip the bait out of its mouth. The reels look small so use 12lb line, l use 18lb on large reels. good luck.
