Western Pride vs Amigo

Hello FNNers,

Needed some advice for this weekend. I need to decide weather to go on the Western Pride or Amigo for an am session on Sunday. Both these boats go out of Davey's Locker/Newport landing and the Western Pride is full with 90 people. The amigo is full with 47. I haven't been out in awhile and needed some expert advice.
Leaning more toward Amigo with less people.

Go to the amigo less people and your going to fish the same exact area as the western pride so go with less people. That means less tangles and more casting space. You will be fishing for sand bass and barracuda.

Hey Ljg96,

I ended up going out on the amigo, definitely better choice than western pride. Unfortunately, I got the skunk. My bro caught 2 chews off the chivies. One of his cudas could have won the jackpot if he was in it, always the case right?
My other bro caught his first fish ever, short cuda. My dad caught a sand bass, and my father in law caught and sand dab. All in all not a bad day for us. A lot of the other fisherman got the skunk from what I found out asking around.
